Wade Mercer, Owner

Wade Mercer owns Brock Garage Doors Pasadena and runs the day-to-day with a rule that’s never changed: nobody leaves a job site without understanding what was done, why it was done, and what it cost. He started in the trade working on torsion systems and opener logic boards back when the brands we service today were still building their reputations in Southern California. Wade personally reviews the written pricing sheet before it reaches you, and he’s the one who signs off on the 365-Day Done Right Promise included with every repair. If you call with a question about a past job, there’s a good chance Wade is the person who picks up.

Daniel R., Lead Technician

Daniel has been bending torsion springs and re-tensioning cables across Pasadena, Altadena, and South Pasadena for over 12 years. He’s the technician we send when a door has multiple problems or when another company has already made an attempt and the homeowner is frustrated. Daniel holds certifications through LiftMaster and Genie for opener diagnostics, and he’s our lead on Clopay and Amarr door systems as well. When he’s not on a ladder, Daniel rebuilds vintage drum sets in his garage in East Pasadena, which might explain why he notices noises in door systems other people miss.

Margie T., Service Coordinator

Margie is the voice on the phone most Pasadena homeowners hear first. She’s been dispatching garage door calls in this area since 2014 and knows the difference between a broken spring in Madison Heights and a stuck opener in Bungalow Heaven when it comes to traffic and drive times. Margie routes every call, schedules the free second visits under our warranty, and makes sure the written estimate gets sent before the truck rolls. Her rule is simple: if you call and need an answer, you get one from a real person, not a voicemail tree. Chris B., Apprentice Technician

Chris joined Brock Garage Doors Pasadena two years ago after finishing a trade program focused on low-voltage systems and mechanical installation. He rides with Daniel or Wade on most jobs, handles the parts staging, learns cable routing and drum seating, and handles the clean-site sweep that’s part of every visit.
